About the Jersey Funds Association

The Jersey Funds Association (‘JFA’) represents the Island's well established Funds Industry.  It is an influential and highly informed body that works with the industry, regulators and legislators both locally and globally.

The JFA is proactive in promoting funds business in Jersey and positioning the Island as a global location of choice for fund services through its relationship with Jersey Finance - the official body that represents and promotes Jersey as an International Finance Centre of excellence both within the Island and to key international markets (www.jerseyfinance.je).

Representatives of the JFA regularly participate in events both locally and internationally to disseminate a wider message through the media and conferences whilst at the same time providing a channel for the expression of professional opinion on funds issues more generally.

In addition, the JFA is committed to helping enhance legislation in order to make Jersey a leading global domicile for funds business. As a result, Jersey is now able to offer a full range of funds options spanning from highly regulated retail funds through to a regulated fast-track approval regime and unregulated fund categories for the high value, sophisticated investor.

The JFA also works with the Securities and Investment Institute (SII) and IFS to promote the highest standards of skills and training amongst those involved in the Funds Industry in Jersey.
